YouTube is testing Incognito Mode on Android

It seems like Google is trying to include incognito mode in all of its privacy-centric apps. YouTube is reportedly testing an Incognito Mode for its Android app.

But what is the need of an Incognito Mode on YouTube as there's an option to pause the watch history and search history or instead you can clear every history?

Yes. There's an option to pause the YouTube watch history and search history but YouTube is actually making it easier for any new user to toggle Incognito Mode anytime they wants.

So, where is it located?

You can find the Incognito Mode on the YouTube's Android app by tapping on your account avatar in the top right corner of the app. Currently, you will see Switch account and Sign out as two different items, but they may soon be bundled into one, with the empty slot being given to Turn on Incognito.

Once Incognito Mode is turned on, your activity from the current session is not saved and subscriptions are hidden from view. The account avatar is replaced by the same incognito icon which is found on Chrome and Gboard, and once Incognito Mode is turned off, the user is taken back to their own account. It is a server-side test as users haven't got this feature yet.
