Fortnite for iOS is hitting million phones and it is making million dollars. Fortnite has remained a great success for Epic Games on PC, Xbox and PS but now after launching its first mobile game on iOS, it is making million hits. Fortnite is getting bigger, better and interesting day after day and people are loving it.
When Fortnite was launched on iOS for the first time, it only had the "invite only" system which created a hype to get the game and made it kind-of difficult to get it but after getting a huge statistical increase, the Epic Games removed the invite only system and made it free to download on the Apple App Store. The response was so high that it has made it's way to the top 10 in the "Top Grossing" category on App Store in 23 countries.
The freemium game has surpassed the revenue earned great game titles such as Clash of Clans, Pokemon GO and Candy Crush in last 7 days. According to a report, the total worldwide mobile revenue for Fortnite has surpassed
$15 million gross, with about $10.5 million paid to Epic Games, in just 20 days since the
game began monetizing on March 15. Global installs of the game have
topped 11 million since launch.
Fortnite is wrecking each survival game launched before it got launched in terms of revenue and downloads within the initial weeks of the game release.
