Amazon India to launch new smartphone range in January 2018

Amazon India is all set to launch to launch a new smartphone series in India to take on it's biggest competitor, Flipkart's Billion series smartphones.

"We leverage the customer data and feedback to understand the gaps in selection, pricing and reach out to our vendors or OEMs to manufacture relevant products," said the vice-president of Amazon India, Manish Tiwary.

Amazon will sell it as "Crafted for Amazon" to compete with Flipkart's "Made for India" in the market. And as per the reports, Amazon IN is all set to launch it's new smartphone range by January 2018. It will probably be the "Tenor" phones which were launched couple months back by Amazon and they've made a plan to make a big launch in the market.
